iPad - personal learning device

BeLF is a Charity, working in partnership with schools, parents and sponsors so that ALL pupils have access to the latest technologies both at home and at school.

Giving home learning support to ALL PUPILS to raise their aspirations no matter what their circumstances because having their own personal home learning devices to support their education motivates and leads to achievement, so  DON’T BE LEFT BEHIND in this ever-changing world of technology.

Research tells us that a personal learning device at home is an even more valuable learning aid than a computer at school: it often motivates children to do their school work; their work is better presented so their self-esteem grows, and they can explore subjects that interest them in their own time.

BeLF celebrates its 10th Anniversary!

BeLF is now running in its 10th year and we are celebrating our successes including providing over 35,000 personal learning devices to pupils in over 45 schools in Birmingham. This would not have been possible without the help of parents, schools, Birmingham City Council, National eLearning Foundation, a number of private sector businesses and the staff and Board Members of BeLF.  Thank you for all your help and support.

“For many children and their families having access to a computer at home would be an impossible dream without the BeLF programme.”
