Belf help Birmingham schools with Home Access Grants

BeLF made contact with 340 schools and visited over 40 schools to help parents with children that are entitiled to FSM apply for a grant to get a free computer and a years free internet access.

The Home Access is a government scheme to help children on free school meals get a grant to purchase a computer and a years internet access. In spite of array of problems that weren’t addressed by the model such as culture , language and child safety we managed to get Birmingham its fair slice of the national funding with Birmingham receiving just over 10,000 grants.
